'Sun Of A Gun' sees Good Good Blood (aka James Smith) developing his reputation for beautiful, affecting and honest songwriting even further.

Written and recorded at home during the first flushes of spring, the album's 11 songs cautiously brighter mood reflect the time of year they were born.

Using a minimal recording set up, Smith draws on his resourceful, inner world to make each track come alive and blossom. Each one is a testament to the beautiful messiness of life, love and everything that goes with it.

With echoes of Mount Eerie, Alex G and Bon Iver, Smith nevertheless continues to show he is an artist plotting his own path and defining his own sound.
